Antique White Oak
The character of Antique White Oak makes it very versatile in interior decor. Because of its close proximity to the first New England settlers it was used as flooring in the earliest dwellings and the timeless charm of this Antique wood is evident in today’s flooring applications.
The color and grain variations combined with the texture, knots and occasional nail holes make this wood desirable for wainscot and wall paneling. For a more rustic look, skip sanded oak barn board planks work well and are used frequently in contemporary as well as traditional design.

- Specifications
All of the natural beauty of the natural grade, but with hand selection of either red or white oak. The added labor to sort the specie allows for the color variation to be less dramatic enhancing the consistency of the grade. The selection of all white oak compliments some of the historic flooring and period inspired themes of our New England Revival line of wainscot. |
This grade enhances the natural beauty of the oaks character, including color variations, tight knot structure, slight checking, varying grain patterns and assorted nail holes. The combination of both red and white oak brings a warm and inviting feel to the room. |
