Bingham provides samples as a tool to help guide you in the decision making process. This is a service that Bingham offers free of charge to help make your decisions easier. Bingham Lumber can provide a wide-range of samples for your projects. Samples can be provided for flooring, wall paneling, and custom millwork.
Samples are created to display the following:
• Specie – Reclaimed or Classic
• Grade
• Width ranges
• Texture
• Finish options
Most unfinished samples can be mailed out within the same day that they are requested. Due to the drying process of finished samples; these can generally be mailed out within a week. In most cases, we use Federal Express 2nd day for delivery.
When you receive your samples, please know that we may send multiple pieces of each product to give full representation of the grade and specie. Individual samples may initially be sent if you are trying to make a decision on multiple species. Once the choices are narrowed down, we recommended sending additional samples. Together, the pieces will represent the grade, specie, or product specified to the best of their ability. Please do not reference an individual sample, or piece of the sample as an accurate representation of the entire grade, specie, or product. Samples are usually 11” pieces and cannot fully represent a large order. Please consult your sales representative with any questions about the samples you have received or any other questions.
Although every effort is made to cover each detail within the specie and grade, wood is a natural product and the samples provide a general guide. Please use all resources when making your selection, including the Bingham showroom, displays, and finish images of completed jobs.
