Sawn or Re–Sawn Beam Mantel
Traditionally most hallways would run the length of the hallway, this one defied tradition to match the rest of the floor.. This is not only a great use of some of the shorter pieces but a beautiful looking finished product

This flooring not only looks great, it will continue to look that way for years to come. The tung oil finish is resistant to water, spot repairable and allows for touch ups as needed.

Reclaimed Tobacco Pine for a Historic Local Home
After a coat of finish is applied to each board it is placed in the racks to dry. For Tung Oil this is repeated 3-4 times.
This flooring gets its names from the tobacco sheds the material comes from. The boards are custom sanded and then finished to the customers specifications.
This image shows the color difference between the sanded and finished pieces.
The beautiful knot structure stands out from the darker, naturally stained piece of the wood.
After 3-4 coats and 24 hrs after the last coat is applied this material was then bundled and shipped to it’s final destination, this time in a neighboring town to blend seamlessly within a historic home.
Custom Shelving for Another Local Business Display
This project included working around a few significant reclaimed pieces already installed in the store. Our Craftsmen spent hours making sure each piece would fit exactly right.
These templates take a significant amount of guesswork out of this project.
This huge shelf is made from mahogany.
Part of the process involves letting the material sit in the clamps long enough for the glue to dry.
These shelves were put together to complement a paneling inspired by our Washington Camp Flooring.
Like the Washington Camp flooring these shelves were made up of mixed reclaimed hardwoods, including walnut, chestnut and cherry.
The Mixed specie material gives a variation of color, ranging from the deep purples and chocolates of the walnut to the tans and burnt grains of the chestnut.
To fully bring out the color and character of the reclaimed wood we finished everything with a tung oil finish, also allowing for spot repairs.
Usually added to hide any end grain, these bread boards have an added contrast because of the color differentiation.
The Tung Oil Finish also brings out the grain in each of the pieces, no matter the color.
This picture shows both the color and grain. Just beautiful.
